Memorial Day

Starting off the day right with some flag waffles. (Some of us don't prefer blueberries...)
Then we went to our first BBQ. This was Scott's Elder's Quorum BBQ.

We had a good turnout and a good amount of food!

Ready to Grill!

Ready to swing!

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Robertson's house for our 2nd BBQ of the day!!!

Lucy kept trying to run away from this cute picture. And she's quick! We finally got a pretty good one though!

It was a fun-filled BBQ day!!

Father/Son Campout

Here are some pictures from the Father/Son Campout this past May. I wasn't there, so I don't have a lot of additional commentary, but I do know that these boys had a lot of fun. And it was the first father/son campout for us that included three generations of fathers/sons, as Grandpa Robertson was able to come along this year!

They boys love the fire.

That is an impressive stack of dutch ovens!

Apparently they found this little rock named Scott.

And here's the real Scott with his breakfast. :)

Climbing on the wood...
Climbing on the rocks..
And even more rocks.

And this is at 5 guys, where they stopped for lunch on the way home.

Joy School

Before we start our next year of Joy School here next week, I had to get up a few pictures from last year. :) We had a really great group! Sometimes it was a lot with six three year olds, but it was also a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures from throughout the year, ending with our Joy School graduation! We will miss some of these kids next year!

Soccer and Baseball

This spring was Alan's first time playing soccer! He loved it. Here are a couple of pictures from his season.

Alan also participated in a reading incentive at his school. Those who read the required amount got tickets to a New Hampshire Fisher Cats game. So after one of his soccer games, Scott and Alan took a drive up to New Hampshire for some daddy-son time!

Walk in the park.
They honored all of the readers on the field before the game began.
The game. I believe the Fisher Cats even won!
Some pretty happy guys.
