Dean's Wedding
This past fall Scott took a trip out to Utah for his friend Dean's wedding. It was a really quick trip, but he got to see some sites around campus and be there for the sealing and reception. He loved being back in Utah for a little while!
He was able to see the outside of the new Provo City Temple, build on the foundation of the old Provo Tabernacle, which burnt down shortly after we left Provo. |
Pretty cool! |
There was a cool lego display in the library. |
Some things had changed. |
Some things hadn't. :) |
I believe this is what now sits where our old Wymount Quad 7 was. |
And here are a few pictures from the reception/wedding! |
Congrats Dean! |

Fun Randoms!
Here are just some random pictures of some fun times!
Blue Slime. Not sure how we got the idea to make this, but the kids loved it.
Grandma and Grandpa Robertson treated us to a game of mini-golf after one of our soccer games. It was a lot of fun!
Some cute pics of our boys in their Sunday best!
These kids LOVE playing outside
Scott and I hiked a trail in the Middlesex Fells Reservation. It was a fun hike with a great view.
We found a chrysalis on one of the tall weeds in our backyard this fall. We checked on it frequently and watched it turn from a bright green color to a very dark brown or blackish color. When it turned dark, we decided to bring it in and put it in a jar to watch it emerge. Sure enough when we came out the next morning, the butterfly had emerged. After I opened it up, it took it a long time to fly away, and I worried that we had somehow damaged it. But I think it just took a little while for its wings to get their strength. We left him outside and eventually he flew away. Honestly, it was all a rather stressful experience. But a lot of fun for the kids.
We always have lots of fun at the science museum!
These cute 'jama boys like to "match"
Scott played a game of super jenga at a work event.
Stocking up on pellets. We didn't want to run out when stores were sold out like last year. We didn't. Not by a long shot. Due to our extremely mild winter we are all set for next year too. :)
We made a green tomato pie with our left over tomatoes from the garden and had a "family history night."
The kids earned a movie night after completing all their chores in our chore can. They loved it. And they didn't all last down here. :)
I got to go to the temple and do baptisms with my friend who got baptized a few months earlier. It was a great experience on a pretty day!
