I knew that I had left off at Lucy's birthday, and figured I better catch up before we get into the birthday season again and she turns 3. :) I have quite a bit of work to do, but hopefully will be able to pull this together now that joy school and other activities are winding down!!!
For Lucy's birthday, we decided to take a trip to the Eric Carle museum. It is a little bit of a drive, but we decided it would be some great birthday fun! Grandma and Grandpa Robertson were able to come with us and secure a library pass. :) Here are some photos from our day!
A few days before our trip, Alan gathered all of our Eric Carle books and we had a fun afternoon reading them. |

This was our first experience with fairy wings and baby dolls at a birthday. She loved it. |
Even the bathrooms in the Museum were full of Eric Carle. :) |
They had a really fun art room where the kids could work on their own projects and explore. |
Some good shots with some classic artwork. Lucy wasn't the biggest fan of sitting still for story time in the library there so we got some good chances to take pictures out in the hall! |
