Look who we found when we just happened to be on Temple Square on Beth's birthday!!!! Ok, so maybe we made a special trip up there to see if we could find her and wish her a happy birthday. And maybe it was a little awkward to be sweeping temple square on the lookout the whole time. And for future reference only senior missionaries work in the Conference Center, and it's pretty awkward to try and come up with an excuse as to why you came in the conference center when you didn't want a tour. :) We weren't sure we were going to find her, so we gave her birthday cards to her companion from the MTC who we recognized. But then we got pretty lucky and saw her walking to her next post! I think she was pretty surprised!! We got to talk to her for a little bit. She seems to be doing really well, and had had a great birthday so far. Isn't she such a cute sister missionary!
seriously awkward, but totally worth it! that older gentleman at the conference center definitely kept us on our toes and i'm pretty sure he didn't believe our story for one second...all the result of a healthy curiosity. we must have just looked a bit shifty or something ;)
