It's official!

So...turns out I'm officially pregnant. Well, not that there was really any doubt, especially after the ultrasound, but I have just gotten so much bigger this past week. I had two "firsts" today at school that absolutely confirmed this fact. You can always count on the high school kids. They always pull through. :)

This morning I had the first absolute stranger ask if I was pregnant. I had no idea who this girl was, and she stopped me in the hallway and said, "Wait, are you pregnant?" When I told her yes she started freaking out- "That is so exciting!!!" I thought it was a little strange for her to freak out so much when she has probably never seen me before, but then again, she was probably about 14. So we'll cut her some slack.

Then, about 15 minutes later, one of my students walked by me and just started touching and patting on my belly. Scott warned me about this. I didn't believe him. I've known millions of pregnant women and I've never just walked up to someone and started touching her stomach! Weird! I mean, she's a really sweet girl and I really like her, I just never knew people actually did that. But then again, she is 14, so maybe that explains it once again.

So all in all, this was a useless post because you have found out two things that you knew from the beginning. (1) I am pregnant. (2) 14 year old girls do strange things. But, there you have my day, and every day for that matter. Although in class, I have to say that the 14 year old boys are worse. :)

  1. haha...that's awesome! i love how those encounters would have been horror stories if you hadn't been pregnant. leave it to the high school kids. and if i touch your belly inexplicably the next time i see you, you'll know why...

  2. And Scott should know because his mom is a pregnant tummy toucher. Usually she reserves it for people she is close to like nieces, Primary co-workers, and daughters-in-law.. So if you fit in any of those categories, beware.

  3. Congratulations! When are you due?
Isn't it crazy, the things strangers will do when they think you're pregnant?!
