Apple Picking

Here are some pics from our fun apple picking adventure!  We were all prepared for rain, but luckily just a pretty humid day instead.

Anne came along for a fun day and to help me with the kids :)

Sarah, Kristin, and Lucas joined us as well!

Luckily our playgroup booked a "school tour."  I think it was much more manageable with a bunch of kids to pick these small bags of apples, rather than bushels full.  Plus we got donuts and cider at the end.

Here we are listening to the apple picking instructions.  Some people are more interested in the dirt than the instructions, but oh well.

And we're off to pick a some...

Got one!

And looking for more.
Mamma and James helped some too

Of course, eating the apples is the best thing of all, and when you eat them on a tractor in your fireman boots, it doesn't get much better than that.
Until you want to please please please feed the goats

A very fun fallish New England trip!
