A Visit from the Toblers!

This summer we were so lucky to get a visit from our good friends the Toblers!  We had visited them earlier this year when we went to Houston, and were thrilled to get to see them again! They stayed with us for a few nights, and we were able to back in a trip to beach and downtown. Best of all, it was fun to be able to chat and let our kids play. They really have the greatest time and are so funny together.  Alan and Violet run around and rule the world and James and Lucia play kitty cat and read books.

As you can tell the kids LOVED the beach. I forget how much fun it is.  I get overwhelmed by the sand, the carrying stuff, the potential drowning/getting lost, that we rarely make it to the beach.  But the kids had the most fun ever and it was a beautiful day.  The Toblers took a trip up to Storyland and Maine when we went to the Tucker family runion.  Then they were able to spend one more day with us before heading home!

The kids were hilarious at the Sam Adams statue!  James starts dancing the minute he hears a beat.  And there were some street performers and the four of them just climbed up on the statue and started rocking out.  For a long time. Completely unprompted. We were all like... what are they doing?  It was the funniest thing ever. I think Scott may have a video on his phone that I will try to upload if I find it. :)

We really miss having these friends close by, but feel so blessed to have seen them twice this past year!  Thanks for the visit Toblers! You are always welcome here!
