Alan's Birthday

Ok, It's October, but I'm gonna try to play catch up this week.  It has been crazy busy around here, but I've decided the blog will be a little less overwhelming if I just spend a week and catch up!  So here goes!!

Back to June!

Obligatory cake picture. Alan wanted a cake with cars on it, so we went with this. :)

Birthday morning- The brother and sister enjoyed helping with the present opening as well and our five year old was a good sport about it.

We had a few of Alan's friends from church over to play outside. We had water balloons, a fish pond, etc. They kept cool on a pretty warm day!

Later that afternoon we just spent some time playing outside, and I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures, something I rarely do any more!  But I just wanted to include them as there were some pretty cute ones of the kids!  The balls and bow and arrow Alan got for his birthday were the toys of the afternoon.

We finished off the day by a trip to McDonalds, thanks to Great Grandma and Grandpa Tucker's treat.  The boys got happy meals and played in the play structure!

Happy boys on the ride home.  It was a very full day!

The next day we had Grandma and Grandpa Robertson as well as Michael, Sara, Micah and Isla over for a barbecue and birthday celebration round 2!  It was great to be able to spend some time with them before Michael and his family moved away.

And we finished off the day with a trip to Kimball Farm.  What more could you want??
