Daddy's special 30 card |
Alan's gift to Dad which he devised all by himself. He cut up 30 pieces of paper and made them into coupons to one of Scott's favorite frozen yogurt places. And a pencil. :) |
New game day tees. And part of Scott's gift was that we all got to go to the Cougar football game a few days later. |
For dinner that night we went out to eat at Bertucci's |
Lucy got a big kick out of feeding her dad. |
And James got a big kick out of the dough |
Lemon and Chocolate brownies for dessert! Happy 30th hun! |
A few days later the Cougars came to the University of Connecticut. And...it's not like they come here everyday, so of course we went. :)
It was a long walk to the field. We were running a little late and thought we might miss kick off... which is just not OK with Scott. Luckily, even with our fast mover James, we did not. |
Apparently it was a little loud at first. |
But he quickly got over that and mastered the art of selfies |
Scott's dad came down with us and my family drove up from NJ to meet us at the game. Grandma Robertson stayed home with Lucy. It was a fun time for all! |
It was a great game. We won. Got to see some great Taysom runs. You know, when that used to be a thing. |
Even though it was a late night, the boys loved it! |
Ra-ra-ra-ra-ra Gooooooo Cougars! |
Looks like a lot of fun. I couldn't think of a better person to have the Cougars come to town right around your birthed than Scott :) I don't know why, but the comment about your "fast mover James" cracked me up. Miss you guys!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun memories. Glad we got to come up to the game and to be with you a few days after the two birthdays. I loved the picture of James with his ears covered....it's just so James. The smiles on those faces tell it all. Also loved Alan's special gift for his Daddy. So sweet!!
