Since being in the bishopric, Scott has had the opportunity to work with the Young Women in the Ward, and has loved it. He was able to participate in a few events over the summer.

| He was a "guest reader" at the YW Book of Mormon read-a- thon event. The girls spent two days reading the entire book of Mormon. They had all different people come and read a few chapters at a time to them. Sounds like it was a wonderful experience! |
Then later on in the summer, Scott got to be a priesthood leader at Girls Camp. Just for one day/night. It sounds like he had a good time. He didn't necessarily spend tons of time with the girls, but did a lot of dishes and also some service projects around the camp. Sounds like there wasn't much idle time! They put those men to work! He came home and informed me that meal prep and clean up are a lot of work. You barely get one cleaned up before you have to start preparing for the next one. See, a good experience. :) :) :)
