This summer we were so lucky to have Michael and Sarah and their family come and visit! While they were here we had a Robertson family reunion up in the North Conway area of NH. Grandma and Grandpa Robertson rented a wonderful condo and we just had a great time with family!
On the way up we drove along the Kancamagus highway and stopped at a trail to eat lunch and do a little hiking. |
There were quite a few fun rivers to cross and the kids had a great time hopping from rock to rock. |
Playing Life. It was a bit advanced, but we had lots of fun playing games together |
We spent a day and a half at Storyland and loved every minute! Grandpa pretending to be afraid of the spider, which lowered when you sat on the tuffet. |
This little miss muffet was legitimately a little nervous |
We couldn't convince James to go on this pumpkin coach ride |
He wanted nothing to do with Cinderella. Though Lucy loved it. |
So we went on the carousel instead |
He also wanted nothing to do with taking pictures, but we took them anyway. |
The log flume was the best. And there were no lines, so we rode it again and again and again! |
Alan got called up from the audience to participate in this magic show. He was hypnotized and couldn't pick up a box. It was really fun. |
The kids would have stayed in this ball place for hours |
Trying to peg the photographer |
Another favorite ride, where you got soaking wet. you could shoot water at the people on the ride, and those on the ride could shoot water at you. The boys loved it. |
Alan convinced Grandpa to go on this spinning turtle ride with him, since neither of his parents would. Though grandpa looks happy in this picture, he was not feeling so happy toward the end! |
Everyone on the Storyland train! |
And I think Lucy's favorite ride was this Shoe ride. |
We also had fun swimming and playing at the playground at our condo! |
And thankfully we found some horseshoes. Couldn't have a Robertson Reunion without horseshoes. :) |
Alan was proud of his ringer. |
On the way out of town, we stopped at a trail that lead to Diana's Baths. |
It had little wading pools and lots of rocks and waterfalls that the kids could climb and walk around it. We loved it! |
The water was coming down hard! |
And here are the cousins after we made it home and all ready for bed! We sure had a ton of fun together! |
