Leaves!!!

A good fall day isn't quite complete without a few leaves for raking and playing in.  Here are some fun leaf photos that we got of our boys playing this year.  These first pictures are from early in the season when only a few leaves had fallen and they were nothing but fun.

Here's Anne showing Alan how to play in the leaves.

He was a quick learner.

And here is James giving it a try.

He was quite pleased with himself.

And still a little nervous when the leaves came pouring down on him.

Yet they just kept coming

and coming

But plenty went the other way too.

No one could escape the leaves.

Not even the one holding the camera.

We had a ton of fun playing in the leaves, but also have to document later in the season when many more leaves had fallen and they were much more work!

Alan was an excellent water boy.

And James found a little rake to help as well

He wants to be just like his big brother.

Here is another small portion of our yard.  We aren't quite finished, but we've made significant progress and the majority of the leaves are done!!

We love having tons of leaves to play in, and next year we might invest in a leaf blower. :)
