Holiday Fair and lots of Christmas Fun

This year I was one of  the co-chairs for the Holiday Fair at the Ditson School. It was a lot of work, and a lot of fun. Thankfully, some awesome people had done this before and we already had a lot of the stuff left over from last year! We had tables with beads, foam shapes, games, cookies, tattoos, fingerprint ornaments, face paining, and gift wrapping for any presents the kids bought. Here are a few photos from the event!

It turned out well! The next week we had our Ward Christmas Party at the church which was also a big hit.

Here's our pic with Santa...for those who wanted to participate. :)
These two love to play games.
And everyone loves to read books. :)

We also had a lot of fun participate in the #lighttheworld initiative this year. Here are the kids picking out some of their favorite foods to donate to a food bank.
We gathered at the church for our annual preschool age graham cracker gingerbread house decorating

It was a lot of fun, as always.

The finished masterpiece
And of course the boys always want to participate too, so I save a few for them.
Mary and Joseph in our Joy School Nativity
We had Sister Patch's daughter, Pam, stay with us for a little while while she helped her mom pack up and move down to Florida. She gave us this fun Gingerbread house kit.
The finished product! (It's a little fancier than the graham crackers. :)
Before Grandma and Grandpa left, we had a little pre-Christmas celebration with them
And sampled all of Grandma's famous Christmas goodies!
Here is James after his Holiday concert at school. He LOVES school.
We got to go back to his classroom and enjoy some cookies and drinks. It was pretty fun!
